CBR500R has seen an update to its exterior as unveiled at AIMExpo in US. It now carries LED headlight that adds up the overall aggressiveness look for this middleweight 471cc parallel twin machine. The design cues are from the styling of Honda CBR600RR and its bigger brother, CBR1000RR.
The muffler is now in the shorter design but with bigger diameter and somehow looking good as compared to the previous model of the CBR500R. Honda said that the new muffler design also better sounding. The fairing is sharper and has a cut out in the waist line which should helps a bit in aerodynamics.
The brake and clutch lever are now able to be adjusted for better control of different kind of grip style of different rider. This is a welcomed addition since many riders of CBR500R are sure to be a long distance rider and this can helps in terms of comfort.
There are 3 colours are offered for the 2016 Honda CBR500R which is black, red and white. For stealthy look, choose the black. The white are nice too with the sharp black and blue stripe on its body. Red is always the easy choice as red is usually related to the colours of winners.
Technical specs cannot be confirmed right now but we think it is the same like the 2015 model. Attached is the 2015 Honda CBR500R specs.
