Sporty new Vespa S125 3v i.e. introduced by Naza Premira Sdn Bhd at RM12,462.04 (OTR).
The Vespa range in Malaysia just got bigger after authorised Malaysian importer and distributor Naza Premira Sdn Bhd today officially launched sporty new Vespa S125 3v i.e.
The sporty new scooter was launched earlier today in a press launch held in The Garage KL. The sporty S125 model will slot below the Sprint whilst sharing similar outlooks, most notable being the square headlamp shape.
Being a new generation Vespa model, it is treated with the marque’s modern new front fascia that features a new mask with a ‘tie’. Matching that and the square headlamp are the prominent mudguard design and saddle profile, as well as the sporty red-painted shock absorbers and retro-styled instrument panel with chrome surrounds.
A total of five paint scheme options will be available comprised of Toarnima (orange), Roso Dragon (red), Nero Vulcano (black), Monte Bianco (white) and Grigio Titanio (matte grey).
The Vespa S125 is propelled using an air-cooled 124cc four-stroke three-valve single-cylinder single-cam engine that is primed with electronic fuel injection. Developing 11.6hp @ 8,250rpm and peak torque of 10.7Nm @ 6,500rpm, all are transmitted via a CVT automatic box that features both with a dry centrifugal clutch and torque server.
The specifications scan posted below should explain the Vespa S125’s technical details in greater light.
Just like its 155cc brethrens, the S125’s 124cc powertrain is optimised for performance, fuel efficiency and low emissions as well. There is a new crankshaft and a pivoted cam axle on the bearings and roller rockers that significantly reduces friction, promising a smoother ride too.
Available now through authorised dealers nationwide, the new Vespa S125 3v i.e. carries a nett selling price of RM10,988 without GST or RM12,462.04 OTR inclusive of GST, insurance, registration and road tax.
The price includes a two-year manufacturer’s warranty plus a one-year AAM Bike Assist membership. Furthermore, Naza Premira states that the first 70 units will also get a limited edition decal set too.
