I have spoken to one of the Malaysian Cub Prix mechanic who work for the Suzuki SCK Racing Harian Metro. He told me that the bike cost about RM50,000 each and they have six bikes on their team. For example, the chain which is SSS cost about RM200. I asked, why is it more expensive than the one sold at the shop? He told me that the chain is made in Japan. CDI cost about RM1,500. Tyre about RM350 each. Hmm.. do the math.
