An ads by Welly Subang has popped up in Mudah.my about this 2013 Honda CBR500R. Price is not available as the ads only for booking only. This might means that we are going to see this bike launch in few more months. Will this be the time when you finally own a superbike?

Don’t think so. Checking the price in USA/UK/Thailand/Indonesia, using price of CBR250R, Ninja 250/300, ER6n/f, as a guide, plus import/sales/excise duty from Thailand at 45%, probably 29k~ *not* OTR price.
In the end it depends on how much they decide to mark up I guess. It is a 470cc bike from Thailand(5% import vs 30% import if CBU from elsewhere, according to MITI), I’m expecting it to cost less than ER6n/f.
