I have seen many Y135LC ES 5-speed having this problem. At first, I thought this chipped paint happens to someone who wear rings on their left hand but this problem also occuring for anyone whether they wear ring or not. This is the first time I see that the clutch lever paint easily chipped off even after one year of using it. I always think that Yamaha have the best paint job and finish, but this time they need to rework their clutch lever paint.
BTW, this chipped paint problem does not happen to the front brake lever.

Betul..aku pny lc es pon kena jugak penyakit ni..lever utk clucth je..utk brake ok plak..moto xsampai setahun..mula2 suspek kena chemical pape ke.. tp skrg da tukaq lever RB..mengancam jgk hihi
racing boy punya lever cun. boleh tukar-tukarkan, merah, golden, silver, mcm-mcm ada.
tapi memang lah yamaha ni, dah lah mahal tapi finishing el cheapo pula, just like the
besi pillon at the back. sikit-sikit dah calar
